I’m putting my bets now that Will is going to “sacrifice” himself to save everyone and end up sealed in the upside down with Vecna because he probably has some undiscovered powers, so they won’t directly kill the gay but they will allude to it and they will of course fulfill their ultimate cheap writer purpose to have all the cheap tropes in one show. You’ve seen how they finished Eddies plot line, it’s either kill the nonconforming characters or make their lives miserable but never, ever touch your cookie cutter characters that homophobes will like, because safe money is all that matters babey!
